This is a great conveyor sushi place right before entering the Nakano Broadway mall complex!
We went here on May 6th, and it was our first conveyor belt sushi restaurant. We were quickly seated, everything was explained to us simply and quickly, and we got to ordering right away! Honestly the food here was so good, I got to try more fish than I usually have (I usually only order salmon and tuna at sushi places outside of Japan, but since coming to Japan I've been trying more) and everything tasted so nice.
There were also a couple very nice seared fish options too! And some interesting stuff I thought I'd never be interested in but was very pleasantly surprised by like cheese on seared salmon, that tasted really cool. I posted a bunch of pictures including fish like salmon, tuna, fatty tuna, gizzard, sea bream, flounder, and probably more, but I was having too much fun and enjoyment eating to remember the names of all of these...
If you want to have some great sushi before or after going into Nakano Broadway, definitely...
Read moreKaiten Sushi Misaki is a great little sushi restaurant to go to, especially when in Nakano and looking for a place to eat when you want to eat as much or as little for a really good price. I visited the restaurant while shopping and just after the lunch time rush.
I order a few plates including a few of my favourites of seared salmon and and tuna and sweet corn gunkan roll, but the two interesting dishes that I also ordered was the hamberg with cheese on rice, which is really tasty and one of the best hamberg on rice I have had, and had the cheese fries, which is really a spring roll pastry with cheese inside, which is very interesting. Definitely a good sushi place to visit, especially when visiting...
Read moreI loved the quirky delivery method of the sushi here! My sister and I ate a lot of different dishes here, and the staff were happy to merge our bills together so we didn't have to pay separately. Food is on coloured plates based on the prices, and runs on a conveyor belt (like yo sushi for those in the UK). You order on a touch screen and it arrives on a mini shinkanzen! My sister visited one in Fukuyama that has a mini game when counting the cost of the dishes, and rewards you with a gatcha pod containing a mini sushi keyring for free if you win the game. The smaller one we visited in Tokyo didn't have...
