Buon Appetito Papa Nakano — Restaurant in Tokyo

Located in a quaint, unassuming alleyway branching out from nakano broadway, this small italian restaurant is perhaps the most underrated food spot from my 2 week holiday in japan. For just 1,100 yen, the spaghetti carbonara tastes authentically italian and homely. Noodle top-up was just 100 yen and extremely generous. The staff were extremely kind to me despite not having a reservation, allowing me to dine anyway without prejudice. They were proactive in their service, refilling my glass whenever it was below the halfway mark. They were cheerful and accommodating of adhoc requests for random condiments. Pizza tastes better than average but just take a look at the picture. Its way too small and they dont offer a bigger size at all. Like i mean the plate is bigger than the pizza its obvious it should be bigger…

Also they gave me a Focaccia with the lunch menu but it was 0% a Focaccia, more just a normal bread..

Dessert was cute tho!

Very nice Italian food. Although I'm not the biggest fan of oysters, the pasta was really good and full of flavor. The pizza was even better, especially when drizzled with their spicy oil. I definitely recommend getting their tiramisu, it's good quality and so flavourful. Overall the food is really nice, however, I do think 1800 (plus more if you order dessert) is not that great of a lunch set price as there are plenty of Italian places that are cheaper during lunch and...
