kenohi — Restaurant in Tokyo

I visited this cafe last month on a short trip to Tokyo after exploring a hydrangea garden. This is such a great cafe for solo visitors to escape the summer heat and enjoy some time with a book/notebook or just their thoughts. The AC is strong, the food is tasty, and the iced coffee is so easy to drink. I recommend that visitors who do not speak Japanese take a moment to look at the menu photos available here and translate the guidelines for this cafe, as to not burden the kind owner with the task of explaining them. After visiting this place, it’s one of my favorites in Tokyo. A great vibe and such a laidback environment. Music is great and so is Hikaru, who serves with a smile. The blend coffee was excellent and the the pound cake (which was warm) with whipped cream and roasted walnuts was simple but delicious. I’ll definitely be back to...

Lovely cafe. I really like the sweet red beans and butter toast. Also, their chai was very good, even though it is not their speciality.
