Khunmae Shin-Ōkubo — Restaurant in Tokyo

When I first walked in I just seated myself and honesty had to wait a bit. However I wasn’t in a rush and I figured they were busy. Come to find out the old guy was by himself and his help came in later.

I went on a weeknight with a friend. It wasn't very busy. The menu seems large. It has multiple languages and pictures. The staff are helpful but not too attentive. The tea pitcher's lid was dirty. By far my favorite Thai place in Shin-Okubo! There’s an extensive & delicious menu, but I get the pad Thai every time — can’t be beat. Cheap lunch specials (less than ¥1,000 for a big meal + soft drinks), and dinner is very reasonable as well. It can get crowded at night and there is a bit of a wait at such times, but worth it.
