I’ve always wanted to experience this type of authentic Japanese ramen restaurant—small, cozy, with a kitchen in the center surrounded by counter seats. Strangers share the same table but are united by their love for delicious ramen. Kisurin perfectly embodies this vibe, and their Dan Dan Noodles are absolutely AMAZING! Coming from the region where Dan Dan Noodles originated, I was impressed by the Japanese chef’s unique take on this dish. The broth is rich yet not overly salty, with the spiciness and peanut sauce harmoniously balancing each other, creating a delightful contrast and combination of flavors. The addition of bean sprouts and coriander is genius, bringing a refreshing, lively element to the soup. The fried pork is incredibly juicy and tender, soaking up the broth’s flavors—simply fantastic! It’s not only delicious but also very affordable. Definitely a must-try!

My wife and I enjoyed this place so much we came back the next night to try both with and without soup. My wife prefers with soup but I liked both styles. When you go high on spice the sichuan peppercorn really comes through though that might have been because I ordered the high spice without the soup. When it comes to add-ons the wontons are great if you want some variety while enjoying your meal and the pork cutlet adds extra heft to your bowl when you're feeling extra hungry. There's not a ton of seats but it's worth waiting for and the food comes out very quick. The people are friendly and helpful. It's just an all around fantastic place to grab a delicious and relaxing dinner.

There was a long wait outside but understandable because their food was delicious. We arrived around 11:30 am and had to wait in line outside for around 20-30 mins. Getting inside, you have to order through the machine. Since it was summer, they have cold yuzu tantan noodles which I got. The seats inside are only limited so 8 people hence the wait outside. The noodles were served few minutes after sitting down and there’s an option to ask for rice if desired. Rice is free of charge. The noodles were so delicious and the soup complements it perfectly. I usually take time eating but it was that good I couldn’t stop myself from eating. It was probably the most delicious tantan I had.
