Stumbled across this place while taking a walk in Ueno Park and so happy we did!
As expected from their online presence, the cafe is absolutely adorable. I wouldn't call myself a bird lover but was delighted by the cute desserts available. Watching the birds flutter about in their enclosures while waiting was a wonderful past time and hearing their chirps all around while eating enhances the whole experience (it almost distracts you from the fact that you have to eat up these adorable creations!! w). I also quite liked that the birds were separated by the customers with a glass wall and hope they aren't stressed by the amount people entering and leaving.
There is a lot of bird centered merchandise available for purchase so I'm sure anyone would be able to find something they like (I would've loved to purchase the plates and glasses used to serve our meal, they were so lovely!)
Bird enthusiast or not, I definitely recommend this cafe before or after a nice stroll in...
Read moreMy wife and I came here while on our honeymoon in Japan since we both love birds. The cafe was very cute and had lots of birds! There was an allotted time you were allowed to play with the birds for a price which I can't remember, but it was definitely reasonable. They had parakeets, cockatiels, lovebirds, and some finches too. My wife ordered the spaghetti and a tea. While I ordered I believe it was omurice and an asahi. It was a lot of fun eating and being able to watching the birds fly around. It didn't smell like birds at all nor was it noisy. The cages were all clean and the woman working was extremely kind. Thank you again! We will definitely visit again on...

They have an additional service for those who would like to play with some of the parrots. Customers pay extra 500 yen to play and pet the parrots who are accustomed to humans. There is also a little store where they sell really cute stuff with bird designs. The staff were super...
