とても素敵なお寺でした。仏様をとても至近距離で拝観させてもらえてありがたいです。お釈迦様と大黒天様がご本尊で、御朱印も2つありました。御朱印は直書きしてもらえて、書いてくださった女性の方が丁寧に御堂内の説明もしてくださり楽しい時間でした(*^^*) 大黒天様の撫で守りに一目惚れし購入。 1月中のある特定の期間限定で七福神巡り用の色紙もあるみたいなので、今度は1月のその期間にもご参拝しようと思います。

寛永2年（1625）に天海僧正により寛永寺が開山したのと同時に、東叡山寛永寺最初の子院として護国院は建立されました。庫裏の1階部分は1927年竣工で、岡田信一郎設計による和風建築として登録有形文化財となっています。有り難く、谷中七福神の御朱印 ”大黒天” と、ご本尊 ”釈迦如来” を頂きました。

2024/06/15(土) 東京の静かな隅に位置する護国院は、谷中橋七福神巡りで大黒天を祀る寺院として知られています。寛永年間に創立されたこの歴史ある寺院は、有徳、財宝、五穀豊穣の神様として崇められています。徳川三代将軍家光公から贈られたと伝えられる大黒天画像や、台東区文化財に指定されている大黒天木像は見逃せません。訪れる人々に富と繁栄をもたらす護国院は、心穏やかな時間を過ごすには最適な場所です。

江戸時代から続く谷中橋七福神巡りは、東京で最も歴史がある七福神めぐりの一つです。七つの福を授かるとされるこの巡礼は、新年の開運散策に最適で、各寺院が独自の魅力を放ちます。特に護国院は、大黒天を祀る寺院として、多くの参拝者で賑わいます。歴史的な建造物や寺、商店街、公園などを巡りながら、ゆっくりと楽しめるコースです。

Located in a quiet corner of Tokyo, Gokokuin Temple is known as the temple dedicated to Daikokuten in the Yanakabashi Seven Gods of Good Fortune Tour. Founded in the Kan'ei era, this historic temple is revered as a god of virtue, wealth, and good harvest. Not to be missed are the Daikokuten image, said to be a gift from the third Tokugawa Shogun, Iemitsu, and the wooden statue of Daikokuten, designated as a Taito City cultural asset. Gokokuin Temple, which brings wealth and prosperity to all who visit, is the perfect place to spend a peaceful time.

The Yanakabashi Shichifukujin pilgrimage, which has been going on since the Edo period (1603-1867), is one of the oldest pilgrimages to the seven gods of good fortune in Tokyo. 寛永寺の子院で、寛永元年（1624）釈迦堂の別当寺として、現在の東京国立博物館の右手奥に開創、承応2年（1653）・延宝8年（1680）に寺地を西方へ移転し、さらに宝永6年（1709）当地へ移転
