We had the best time at Kuroneko pizza tonight with Takashi & Mari. They were welcoming & friendly and have created a lovely atmosphere in their restaurant. Aoi the corgi made our evening even more special 😍 we got to feed her treats & play with her, after she sniffed around for some food 😂 also if you are a baseball fan this is the spot for you!
The pizza here is so tasty & freshly prepared, we really enjoyed every bite. The pizzas are small which is clearly mentioned on the menu. So we ordered 1 each for two of us and some fries to start. The pizza was so good we ordered a third & devoured that too. The bismarck & Quattro formaggi were our first two. For our third pizza Takashi accommodated us by making a salami pizza which was perfectly cooked. The crust was crispy & light. All of the toppings were good quality & tasty. We would especially recommend the Quattro formaggi. We liked that the pizza was small so we could try different toppings too. There was honey, hot sauce, etc available to add if you wish also!
Please try this restaurant if you are in Shinjuku you won’t regret it! Thank you so much for your hospitality guys ❤️ be sure to give Aoi more...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this restaurant during the typhoon over the weekend; It was the only restaurant open near our hotel so we went in during both lunch and dinner. For lunch the menu was limited to a small personal size pizza, a large salad, and a drink. Portion was enough to fill us up! We trekked through the storm that night to try their dinner menu. The bolognese pasta was perfectly al dente with a buttery and meaty sauce. We also tried the gizzard, fried sausage springrolls, tomato eggplant, marinated mushrooms, and housemade pickles, all of which were great small dishes to go along with all the whiskey we were trying. They have a great drink menu; options were organized into a cute menu book and the gentleman at the bar was introducing options to us as we expressed to him that we liked Japanese whiskey. He also played Michael Jackson music videos and danced around towards the end of the night (it was adorable). Both staff members that were there barely spoke any english but were very kind and patient. Overall, a great place to visit if you are...
Read moreCame here on a Saturday for lunch and there was no wait. We ordered napoletana and mushroom corn pizza. Our orders came with soup and salad. Although these appetizers were simple things, I really thought it was the best soup and salad I’ve ever had in my Japan Trip— maybe because all I’ve had was miso soup but truly I think this restaurants soup may have been the best soup I’ve had in my life!!! I absolutely loved the flavors and different textures that can with it. As for the pizza, my favorite was the mushroom corn pizza. I’ve never had pizza with corn or this kind of cream sauce but it was amazing!!! The napoletana on the other hand was a bit too salty for my liking.
Other than than, please know that the soup and salad is self serve and pay before you sit! Definitely give this place a try. These are personal sized pizzas so order 2 if you’re hungry. The pizzas didn’t take long considering this is a one...
