TLDR: great location, good service, super clean, a bit tiny but bearable, close to the LGBT district, ignore the low star reviews (they improved), this will be my go to hotel if I’m coming back to Japan!

Good: Tbh I was nervous about this hotel cus of the Google reviews but honestly ignore the low star reviews. We went on late Feb/March so less touristy. As an American I base off of locations and places with reviews but this kinda blew my expectations. This was my first ever stay in Japan and I was super happy with this hotel. They had great staff to help us check in. I love how they change and clean the rooms every night with fresh towels. Stayed on the 4th floor. Very clean hotel! I used the bath tub as a jacuzzi at this hotel was nice and relaxing after 10 hours of walking and exploring. The location is great! It’s close to the train stations so you can pretty much go anywhere and not use uber or taxi so many restaurants and convenient stores near by. If you wanna grab breakfast or late night snacks. It’s close to the gorgeous shinjuki gyeon national garden which I recommend. We wanted to stay in a LGBT district and it was close to the bars, bathhouses, and clubs! Felt very safe around the area even at midnight! There’s a laundry mat right across the hotel so if you wanted to do laundry it’s there and convenient! Have a lot of outlets to plug and charge multiple electronics. They have a fridge which was nice.

Improvements: it’s tiny only recommend this place if you have 2 guests. Anything more it might be too tight! We had 3 but still able to fit everyone plus our huge luggage’s. We were out for more than 8/hrs a day so we only use this place to sleep and shower. No other bad complaints!

I’m definitely going back to this hotel if I ever visit...

Overall the building is brand new but tiny entrances with strps up to the lift level before it takes you to your floor. Very inconvenient to carry anything heavy up and down (strollers and luggages alike). What we really didnt like is that one of the days we realised a stranger (definitely not the guests in our next door unit) was able to enter into our floor and our gate (card access only to each floor) which is very unsafe! Make sure to lock your room door promptly everytime after opening. Our room for 4 was in another building away about 3mins walk from the main building where reception is. Reception service differs depend on which lady is on duty. The lady with fluent English is helpful, patient and friendly compred to the other who was impatient with us when we notified that housekeeping did not top up our in room amenities (green tea and coffee) for a couple days then. Our mini apartment of 2 single + 1 double beds comes with a mini kitchen + dining area which is great as there are many cooking appliances included. However windows of all 3 days open up to the next door buildings, cant really open all the way without peiple looking in.There is supposed to be housekeeping but we finally made a request to vacuum our floor after 3 days as all the snacks left behind by oyr kids were just left on the floor, in pieces or crushed powder format or swept under the beds... apparently cleaners only magic sweep the floor everyday. Also, if you need your beds made, need to put in special request too. Kids like the area which is where we are.familiar with, Shinjuku Gyoemae, nearby the garden. Not nearest to amenities but there is a 7-Eleven within steps away from our building. We will definitely.come back again for the...

Avoid this if you don't want to be cheated.||So we booked this hotel because it is near the subway station. We paid super high price for this (100,000 JPY for 3 nights for a Triple room). However, when we arrived, the hotel staff told us that the hotel was fully booked and they had to move us to the annex building, which is much further down the road and away from the subway Station. We booked the hotel 5 months in advance and already made payment through Agoda and they told us the main building was fully booked? Also, when we arrived at the annex, the room looked exactly the same as what they advertised. So conclusion is they will rent out both the main building and the annex but only mention the address of the main building. ||I didnt expect such unethical act and lack of transparency from a Japanese business. Imagine our shock when this was what greeted us when we first arrived at Japan.||We voiced out our unhappiness and good lord the hotel staff didn't say a single word of apology. None. She didn't say anything, didn't give any explanation, didn't answer my questions. I asked to speak to the manager on the next day and she agreed. But during our stay, no one contacted us. All I needed was a simple apology but no one bothered to do so.||So fellow travellers, if you want to book this hotel because of the supposedly good location, think twice. You may end up in the...

I recently stayed at this hotel and was quite disappointed with the experience. The hotel was not as advertised. Our room was located a short walk away from the main building, and it felt run down and not well maintained with lots of holes in the ceiling. Additionally, they collected ¥3,000 per night for an additional guest not registered, which felt excessive. The room was also not as spacious as it seemed in the photos, with all the beds cramped together. The towels were old and discolored. We requested for daily cleaning but it was done half-heartedly with the mattresses thrown together haphazzardly. While water was provided each day, we had to collect it from the concierge ourselves. The location was another downside. It was almost a 20-minute walk to Shinjuku, and there wasn’t much to see or do nearby. The hotel is also far from key stations like Nippori and Ueno, which is problematic if you need to take an early flight home since the trains don't run until 4:30 AM. The room felt more like a serviced apartment than a hotel. It came with a small kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and sink, but there was hair on the dishwashing sponge, which was off-putting. However, the microwave was useful for heating food we bought from convenience stores. Overall, I am unlikely to come back again.

VERY Interesting name if it is just a business hotel. Though pretty attracted to stay at, as if going into a haunted mansion in funfair, past residents' insider reviews with construction cite-like pictures make that hard to decide. Besides, the cost here can rival to the other accommodations such as Toyok, Ap, Tokyo Bis, Liste, Shue or Citadi, not to mention some modern hostels or even an onsen hotel nearby... Well, however, after all, they are just ordinary lodgings but even the entrance alone for you to go NUTS looks a little unorthodox and says it welcomes you with a free check-in drink that may be working as the initiation ritual to a new “nuts”. I'll await some update intel before becoming one of to them, on my end.

I’d only stay here if it’s the last place available! The room was extremely dated, including the bathroom. The bed was horrible, the bathroom is old and muggy, just doesn’t feel clean. You get one pillow, just one. The double bed is actually two twin beds put together and trust me it’s extremely uncomfortable. The ridiculous hotel policies is what bothered me the most, for example: 1. You must leave the key at reception any time you leave the hotel. 2. Checkout is at 10AM. 3. If you stay past 10AM, you get billed approximately $10 USD/hour. 4. You are billed per person, the reservation includes the stay for one person only. The good about the hotel? The ugly bathroom is big. That’s about it.
