Gyozas are tasty and the price is rather competitive (at least for food, not for drinks), but the choice is quite limited.

Also, we had to wait 40mn, and only after that they would check your temperature (what if your temperature is too high and you just wasted your time? Couldn't it be checked when they add you to the waiting list?)

But the most annoying thing is that they have the most disrespectful waiter I've seen in more than 6 years in Japan. When asked (in a not bad Japanese) about the origin and dryness of their nihonshu (sake), he answered bluntly in just one work (amakunaï) and looked like we were annoying him.

Also, when bringing the food on the table, he was almost throwing it. We were even afraid the plates could break.

The cherry on cake came 30mn later: we asked for water with the usual polite Japanese sentence. He just took the carafe of water of the people sitting on the table next to us (who looked a bit surprised) and put it harshly on our table. 10mn later, they also asked him for water. Guess what he did? He took the carafe back from our table and put in on theirs (also very abruptly and without a word).

Fortunately, his colleagues are not like him: they are normal (respectful and smiling).

So, on the whole, I think this place is quite overrated. There are tons of other options if you want to eat tasty gyozas in Tokyo, without having to wait for so long and face a...

【🇯🇵Please give this review a thumbs up if you thought it was helpful so I can keep reviewing places in Japan🗼】 My favorite Gyoza place in Japan! Crust outside and juicy meat inside. I highly recommend the Sui-Gyoza(boiled gyoza) as well! Try it with the hot chilly sauce. During dinner and weekends you will face a queue for sure. About 30 to 1 hours. No reservation are taken, so be sure to arrive a little bit earlier than the planned time. The price is way to reasonable for dinner time. Around 1,500 to 2,000 yen per person. The staff doesn’t speak English that much but you can find yourself, so don’t worry. English menu is available as well. I will post some of the pictures I have from this place to show you guys that I have been here many...

Found these based on feedback on a dumpling review website! These had absolutely delicious texture and very good flavour. They did not fall apart and were cooked perfectly.

Prices are very low, there is a wait but there were 8 people in front of our name and it was still only half an hour.

Toppings for the dumplings are very interesting and you can get a huge quantity of them! There's an option for garlic or without. These are pork dumplings and there is no vegetarian option for mains however there are a few appetizers that are.

Really good experience, good service, good food and very cheap! Larger groups may need to wait a little longer but there was seating for 4-6...

Comments mentioning that the gyoza here are the best-tasting, are probably mainly from less experienced visitors. The gyoza here are very good for the price, and the crispy texture of the pan-fried is very well executed. At this price point, they just can't add a lot of good quality meat, which is essential for a great tasting gyoza. Although, I liked the pan-fried better, the boiled are also very good. The relatively thin gyoza skin, held up well, adding a more delicate and elegant taste. Don't get me wrong, I can highly recommend this place for the cost performance and taste of the gyoza. Just, there are other better tasting gyoza, but of course at a higher price.
