Great cafe. They have decaf coffee, but the day I visited it wasn't available, so the owner offered other caffeine free options. I tried a hot ginger latte for ¥680 and it was good, it really tasted like ginger but it had the smooth aftertaste of a latte. I also tried a sugar donut for ¥380 and it was delicious, served warm, with a perfect texture. The cafe has a chill, stylish atmosphere. The wooden building itself is quite beautiful. They have a second floor with seats, but the day I went there it was busy, so the owner accommodated us on a table on the first floor. You might have to wait for a while to get a seat on the second floor, since it seems it's a popular place. They also do takeout. I love coffee shops & always try to find unique ones in every city. The design of this shop is stunning but the owner’s attitude is shocking - I’ve never felt the need to write a negative review but this is one of the worst & most unfriendly attitudes I’ve ever experienced (maybe I’m just used to genuine kind services)

my question is- why own a coffee shop and make your customers feel disrespected (while reading other reviews I felt like I wasn’t alone in the experience) when you’ve created a beautiful environment?

I believe this is a reasonable recent café that opened in Hatagaya, next to the well-known Paddler’s coffee. Unlinke its neighbour, it is not packed from the early morning with people lining up to come in. In my case, I was the first person to come in and was greeted by a nice guy who had everything well in order. The coffee was good and the seating area upstairs had a very good setting.
