We had the fried chicken, Japanese style cold tofu, miso soup, rice and tsukemono. The food was delicious- the fried chicken was cooked so perfectly that my teenage daughter ordered an additional plate. What really made this little restaurant a five star review from me was the people. You walk in and you feel like you are a part of the community. They were gracious and warm. They carefully went over my daughters allergies and made sure their meal was safe for them. Also- it was very cute to observe the friendship that exists between the customers and the restaurant staff. There were a couple of children (ages 3 and 5) dining there that had just come from school, wearing their uniforms, that had recently moved so had not been to the restaurant in awhile. It may be slightly on the pricey side, but the ingredients quality is high. You can feel that the chef is putting some heart into his work.
