Went to the Tokyo Skytree the first day we made it into Tokyo. On our walk, we were in awe of all the food that surrounded us. We obviously started our food journey at the local 7/11, but after that, we were overwhelmed with where to start.

After we got to the Skytree complex, though, and we saw this McDonald's, it was a done deal. Go with what you know. The menu was very familiar, with a few unique items. Looking for something quick and easy, we opted for the teriyaki burger!

This sits near the base of the Tokyo Skytree and offers the Japanese McDonald's menu, with stuff you'd never find or expect in the west including special limited time items. The restaurant is packed with tourists, which makes ordering a bit of a hassle. The food is made fast and nicely though, with decent prep times after your order is placed.
