In short, DO NOT COME.
If you’re a miffy lover and you’re expecting some loving atmosphere from your favourite cartoon character, don’t even get close here.
This place is like the world-record rollercoaster at FujiQ minus the thrill and excitement. You thought you get the joy when it goes down, but then you realized that your seat belt failed to work. The moment you walk into the place, your disappointment goes straight up with a nearly vertical slope.
We ordered two drinks and one dessert, which were more than 3700 yen. My pear special was served first among all the customers coming that time, which I felt a bit lucky. To add on to my surprise, I also got a tiny little cute eyelash on the sorbet as a special souvenir. The drink has more ice than my parents’ disappointment at me and less liquid than Sahara Desert can get during summer. The dessert is okay I guess, but I highly suspect I could get the same thing with 1/3 the price at KALDI (I take cash only as the reward for my ad here).
The staff seem to be unfamiliar with anything in store but somehow they were all busy with something. It’s like you programmed a robot with an endless loop code and they had to move around and touch this and that so that customers may feel their money is worth it. I don’t know why they need more employees than customers though.
Also the customers were super loud and there was one mom who seems to be lost control of her child forever. Like I get how this place disappoints you already but maybe not let your kids do the same to others :)
In all, this place is definitely not worth it. At all. If you like Miffy I would suggest you find the Miffy stores with cute souvenirs instead of taking a tour...
Read moreWe made a special trip to the Miffy Café in Daikanyama, and while it was absolutely adorable, we unfortunately arrived too late in the day to try any of the themed meals — only takeaway cookies were still available. Our kids were excited, so it was a bit of a letdown. That said, the café itself is lovely: soft pastel interiors, Miffy-shaped food (if you go earlier), and a calm, cozy vibe that’s very family-friendly.
The location is super convenient — it’s directly connected to Daikanyama Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line, and stroller access is easy. While the café doesn’t take reservations, seating is limited, and the kitchen closes earlier than expected, especially in winter. If you’re hoping to dine in, I’d recommend arriving before 11:30 AM.
Menus are available in English, though the café is not halal-certified. Prices are moderate — around ¥1,500–2,500 for a meal or dessert set.
As a bonus, there’s a small outdoor playground nearby — perfect for kids to run around after their sweet treat. We ended our visit at Henry’s Burger Daikanyama, a short walk away, and had one of the best burgers...
Read moreWe went for coffee, and treats and it was great! We made a reservation for 8:30AM, and arrived at 8:34. We were seated immediately! After reading all the negative reviews, we almost skipped our reservation. But we were greeted by friendly staff, and sat at the main table but still with space from others. The financiers were warm, and the coffee was good. I got the carrot yogurt drink, and it was delicious! Everyone was nice, and all the other customers seemed happy. I’m not sure why it has so many negative reviews because it all went perfectly well for us. Just be kind, and patient and manage your expectations and you will have a...
