Was good all around, but with a few issues. For English tourists: there is a touch screen machine to order from with an English option - very much appreciated. It could really benefit from being able to pick how you like the steak done, as this caused our biggest issue. We told the waiter medium rare and it came to us basically raw. Maybe this was a language barrier, but we had the cook try again and this time it was much better. He was extremely accommodating and seemed to genuinely care, enough so that he stuck with me using Google Translate to speak with him. Located a few step from the Ebisu Station, Monster Grill serves up good steaks. I had their ribeye 450g (15.8 oz) for 3780 yen. It is served with rice if wanted a plate of it. I opted for a small salad for 180 yen. It was really busy for a Friday lunch. Once you pick your cut of meat, the waiter will ask what sauce you want. He recommended the soy one and also this white creamy garlic ranch sauce. Both were great. The appeal for me was that it was a sizzling steak served on an iron skillet. The taste is different from when I visited a few years ago. I felt it is a bit saltier. The waiting time is a bit long. There is a long queue. It's better to book ahead. Plus the order vending machine is removed. It was more convenient with the machine. I ordered 200g steak with a rice set. The soup that came with the rice set wasn't tasty.
