I'm so glad I came here. There was no wait on Sunday afternoon. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. You order and pay at a machine at the front and you get a little ticket that you hand to the hostess. She seats you at the counter. The chefs then bring out your order. Squeeze the lime into the dipping broth (you can put it on your noodles too). I ordered the chashu (pork belly) and it was delicious and it came with a perfectly soft boiled egg. When you have your fill of noodles, you put the bowl with your dipping sauce back on the counter for the chef to put soup-wari in, which is a lighter broth, to dilute the dipping broth. Loved the inclusion of wood ear mushrooms for extra crunch.
The portion was generous, and the dipping broth clung to the noodles beautifully. Simple toppings like seaweed and green onion added the right touch. Service was quick and friendly even though the place was busy.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for top-tier tsukemen in Tokyo. Will...
