We came here for lunch our last day of our honeymoon - best ramen of our whole trip! The place was packed with a line out the door but it moved fairly quickly. You order on a machine while in line and the price seemed kind of low to me so I bought some toppings separately. When I handed my tickets to the chef, they gave me a funny look. Turns out the standard ramen came with a full set of toppings and I ended up with the top of my bowl completely rimmed in seaweed and topped with a mountain of green onions. Hottest Spiciest Ramen in town!! This branch is in an obscure corner of Shinjuku with stairs leading down to the restaurant( basement). Tip- But don’t take the Super hot challenge cause the chilli powder wipes out the taste n aroma of delicious soup/broth. The average hot ramen should suffice, noddles are done well with some bite n not mushy but the delight is in the broth! It’s a great dish to have after a night out for drinks provided you can stomach it as eating it will get u all fired up literally- tongue will burn, sweat will flow but it’s delicious. You order on a screen but there’s no English menu. The staff there was very friendly and helpful, the shacho even brought out a Burmese staff to help explain the menu to me.

There was a long line inside to be seated after placing our order. The majority of the seats were counter type, they only have a few tables.

The queue moved very quickly and we waited for about 15 minutes. The portion size was quite big, overall...
