I am complaining about BEAMS Shinjuku on the B2F. During my visit on January 14, I purchased four items, including a garment. A staff member helped me try it on and assured me that the item was new. Trusting his assurance, I bought it without further inspection.
However, when I returned home, I discovered that the tag was missing and the garment had visible stains and defects (as shown in the attached photo). When I returned to the store to address the issue, the employee removed the tags from the pocket with the tag wire already broken. I requested a replacement, but was informed that the size was sold out. This information contradicted the website, which indicated that the item was in stock at BEAMS Shinjuku. Instead, he only offered to reattach the tag to the zipper.
I am deeply disappointed by this experience and the lack of transparency during the transaction. I trusted the staff and did not expect such a problem from BEAMS, a brand known for its quality and service. Disappointingly, when I complained to the BEAMS company, I received no feedback. Therefore, I am writing this comment to remind other people not to go...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing tax refund experience at the B1 tax-free counter. I travel to Japan 2-3 times a year, and this was by far the worst encounter I’ve had. The staff handled our items carelessly, even tearing the protective rain bag that was shielding them from the heavy rain outside. They unnecessarily scrutinized our brand-new purchases and made the process far more difficult than it needed to be.
To make matters worse, the male staff was constantly coughing—without covering his mouth—while handling our items and even coughing directly in our faces. Especially during flu season, this was completely unacceptable. If he was unwell, he should have stayed home instead of putting customers at risk.
Their overall attitude was dismissive, and they seemed indifferent to their job, speaking only among themselves in Chinese and showing no regard for customer service. This experience has left such a negative impression that I will never shop at...
