I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant, and I must say, I was absolutely blown away by the amazing food and overall dining experience. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I was in for a treat. The food at this restaurant is nothing short of immaculate. The flavors were truly remarkable. One dish that left me speechless was the fried dumplings. The crispy exterior combined with the perfectly seasoned filling created a burst of delightful flavors in every bite. And let me tell you about the 'Chinese spiced soup' gyoza—it was a unique and delicious twist that elevated the dish to a whole new level 🤤🤤🤤 To complement the exquisite flavors of the food, I opted for a 'freshly squeezed seasonal fruit sour' drink, and it was the perfect choice. The drink was incredibly refreshing, with a tangy sweetness that balanced the savory notes of the food beautifully. It truly enhanced my dining experience and left me feeling thoroughly satisfied!! Not only was the food exceptional, but the service provided by the restaurant staff was also top-notch 🥹🥹 The workers were extremely friendly and attentive, making us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we stepped in. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer recommendations added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. If you find yourself unsure of where to eat, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. The combination of savory and flavorful food, coupled with the refreshing drink options, creates a truly amazing dining experience. You won't be disappointed!!

The worst gyoza I have ever tried. Definitely just some fried gyoza from the supermarket. No clear explanation of the rule of forcing customers to order 1 drink each which is a minimum of 400 yen and also no free tap water which should be in every restaurant in Japan. I will never go back and I recommend you never go here either. Nothing more than a tourist trap and 400 yen table service charge for 0 customer service. The Trip Advisor reward is just a trick to make you go there but the food is absolutely terrible. The mushroom egg fried rice was no doubt the worst fried rice I've ever had in my life, even the 7-11 frozen fried rice is so much better. Tourists of Japan, do yourself a favour and just don't go here. I know that there are so many dodgy places in Shinjuku and this place is simply one of them with the sneeky one person one drink system and the table charge for no customer service. The building is so dirty like it's never been cleaned at all and you can only go by stairs which makes it even more dodgy. They're just using this "Trip Advisor Ranking" to make it look like they're so good but honestly it's the worst restaurant in Tokyo I've Ever been to, it's that bad. One of the biggest tourist traps I've experienced in Tokyo as a mixed race Japanese and also the staff are all racist. Be careful in Shinjuku or simply just don't go there because it's a place of no good.

Had a wonderful experience at Gyopa Gyoza Shinjuku! The ambiance was great, and the gyoza were delicious. A special shoutout to Tukumi, who went above and beyond to make our first visit memorable. His assistance and friendly service added a personal touch to our dining experience. The Chinese spiced Gyopa added an exciting twist to the traditional gyoza, showcasing the restaurant's culinary creativity. Unfortunately, the steamed chicken with rice fell short of expectations, not recommended based on our experience. The fried dumplings, however, were a highlight. Crispy on the outside, yet delightfully juicy on the inside, they showcase the skillful preparation that Gyopa Gyoza Shinjuku is known for. To complement the meal, the Karatamba Sake proved to be the star. Its rich and nuanced flavor profile elevated the dining experience, making it the best choice among the beverage options. For those who appreciate a well-paired drink, the Karatamba Sake is highly recommended to enhance the overall enjoyment of your meal. Highly recommend this spot for excellent gyoza, a warm ambiance, and outstanding customer service!

I would like to share my amazing experience at Gyopao Gyoza Shinjuku. The first thing caught my attention immediately after I stepped into this place, was the cozy environment with the Japanese decoration which I really loved. I don't know who owns this restaurant but it is running by several nice, professional youths who know their jobs. A pretty, cute young lady took care of our table. I forgot to ask her name. She speaks English very well and went through the menu one by one. They treated us with Japanese Za-Sai which was so delicious. On the menu we ordered steamed chicken with green onion Sause and Extra thick pickled Bamboo Shoots to begin with. Both were so delicious. For the main dish, we ordered bite-size fried dumplings, meat steamed dumpling, fried spring rolls and stuffed seafood spring rolls. All of them were so delicious. Long story short, if you are visiting Japan and tasting dumplings is a part of your plan, I would recommend visiting this place and enjoy the incredible foods.
