musch shibuya dogenzaka — Restaurant in Tokyo

Terrible service!? I saw very good reviews on this store in Instagram and my friends recommended this place, but oh boy do I not want to go here again… My friend accidentally flipped her glass today, which unfortunately shattered and made a mess on the floor. We understood that it was our fault and felt incredibly bad so we apologized to the waiter about the mess. But then the follow up service was a bit unexpected… The waiter did not seem to care at all that the drink spilled all over my friend… didn’t offer any help, but he gave us a trash bag and a bunch of wet towels and told us we had to wipe the floor and pick up the shards with our bare hands. Is this normal service?! It was only us in the place with no other customer. He said that it was normal at this store for the customers to clean up all the mess they made including the glass shards. We ended up paying for 2 drinks that we didn’t drink and 2 people worth of table service about $30 for 10min of service. The waiter told us the table service was roughly for 1 hour of service, so we asked if we could stay for a bit after we cleaned up the mess to clean up my friends coat. The waiter initially said yes and went to the back. The waiter then loudly spoke to his coworker that it was unbelievable for us to have the audacity to stay after making a mess (which we cleaned). He then came back out and told us to get out unless we ordered another drink and paid for it. We didn’t want to pay for another drink after the service we got so we unfortunately left the place after wiping their floor. I’m just curious if this is normal service at our store or we just hit a bad waiter(s)…

シーシャは美味しく、内装も落ち着いた感じで良いです。週末に伺ったので、かなり混んでいました。落ち着きたい方は避けた方が良いです。席の間隔がかなり近く、半個室のスペースでも2-3名だと別のグループの方と同じ空間になるようでした。

スタッフさんの対応がかなり微妙でした。入店時、何故かキレ気味に「この時間以降はシーシャの注文が必要」というようなことを、圧強めに言われました。また、他に席に空きがあるにも関わらず、自分達の隣の席でバイトの方の面接が始まり、和やかな雰囲気ではなかったので、かなり気まずかったです。

他にも、ドリンクを注文済みでテーブルに置いてあるにも関わらず、ドリンクどうしますか？と聞かれる。(お代わりの確認などではなく、早く頼めというような感じでした。)シーシャが到着して吸い始めた直後に、別のスタッフさんが炭を変えに来る。

など、謎の接客が続きました。

落ち着く、というような口コミと写真も多いので、人の少ない時間に伺えば、印象は違うかもしれません。

追記)返信が来たので追記します。 次回このことを伝えるというのは、悪い口コミを書いたことを店舗でスタッフに伝えると言うことですかね。気まずすぎて出来ないです。自分とはかなり、考えや感覚の違う店舗のようですね。

参考になればと思って書いているので、無料はありがたいですが、使うことはないと思います。口コミを見て、合わなそうな方がいれば来店しないか、店舗側で改善していただくか、で、残念な思いをする方が減ると嬉しいです。
