My HAMBURGER — Restaurant in Tokyo

A small shrine to the American hamburger shack experience. I had the regular cheeseburger and it was perfect. Caramelized patty, melted cheese with slightly charred edges, a thick slice of tomato, and a thick wedge of iceberg lettuce on a brioche bun. Freaking spectacular, I almost cried for home. I guess the fume hood wasn’t working the day I was there, so the small space filled with burger smoke, but it was kind of charming and added to the burger shack atmosphere. The earnest workers tried their best to balance ventilation and keeping out the cold. I smelled like burgers for about 36 hours, kind of like a flavor saver. 練馬駅西口を出て、左手に西武線を見ながら線路沿いを歩くこと5分。 時折、電車がレールの繋ぎ目を通過する際のリズミカルな走行音が鳴る以外は、非常に物静かな場所にそのハンバーガーショップはあった。

穏やかな日曜の11時。 ウッド調の白塗りの外壁に緑色の扉、店先にはパラソルが付いたテラス席。 何とも雰囲気が良く、入店する前から素敵な時間を過ごせるであろうことを確信し、いざ店内へ。

カウンター5席の小さなお店だが、昨年店名を変えてリニューアルしたお店は、清潔感があって居心地が良い。 狭いが故に、鉄板で焼かれているパティやバンズを至近距離で眺めることができるのは、むしろ嬉しい点。

バーガーだけで20種以上あり、セットメニューも豊富な上に、トッピングもたくさん。 決断の速さに自信のあるビジネスマンの小生も、これは相当頭を悩ませることになった。 最終的に絞りに絞って8択まで削ったが、後ろ髪を引かれる思いで以下のメニューをオーダー。 もはや後ろ髪を引かれすぎて、後頭部の地肌がだいぶ見えていた。

Went there because of the well known burger cravings and got completly satisfied! Super sweet personal tried their best with the langage barrier and made it an overall pleasant experience. The location is 10 minutes walking distance from the nearest station, and 15 minutes from the Warner Bros Studio in a quiete neighborhood. The Restaurant is pretty small with only counter seats but it has an outside seating area with tables for bigger groups making it perfect for everyone.
