Namaste to everyone I took lunch with my companies
This is an Indian vegan and vegetarian curry restaurant that managed by Japanese
There are lunch buffet and lunch set on the menu, I tried lunch buffet which contain four daily special curries, two kinds of naan(plain and komatsuna which’s Japanese mustard spinach), turmeric rice, salad and dessert. All things you can take any amount. There are free coffee and mint tea too.
This time the curries were Sambar soup, Black chana, Vegetable curry and pumpkin masala.
Samber soup mixed with beans and some veges I saw zucchini in it. It’s kinda sour taste, good for naan and rice too. Cumin’s smell nice, smoothly into my body.
Black chana curry is contain chana beans cooked by lot of spices so it’s little hot but really delicious. I love beans curry so I took another samber and black chana.
Vegetable curry has rich veges like cauliflower, carrot, green beans and more and more. Here Nataraji has own farm and all veges come from there that’s why feel secure and rich.
Pumpkin Masala is like a pumpkin soup, it creamy and smooth, compare to other it’s sweet so better to neutralise hotness of others or it’s for person who likes mild taste. Good for rice I guess.
The naan cut quarter and it made of natural yeast then feel light so I even enjoy turmeric rice too. If you want to avoid oil on naan, tell to the staff to get it without oil.
Dessert was called Kheel. It made of milk boiled rice and raisins and cashew nuts. It cold and sweet I liked it. I felt happy because I remembered childhood memory that I ate sweet dessert at an Indian curry restaurant and still I’m looking for the taste after that. Then this Kheel was similar anyways.
Additionally the rest room filled incense scents makes me feel good and...
Read moreReally like the food at the Harajuku branch, so I thought I would come and try the branch in Ogikubo. Came mid-afternoon for their lunch buffet; my friend arrived first, and had no issues getting us a table. The setup is the same as the other branch, and was just as attentively topped up as the branch in Harajuku. When it was nearly time to close the lunch buffet, a lady kindly asked us if we wanted any more food before they started clearing away. And even after the lunch buffet was closed, the lady brought and placed the tea and coffee dispensers onto the table next to us, and told us to continue to help ourselves to them! Had a comfortable, relaxing vibe, too....
Read moreExcellent vegetarian-vegan restaurant! There is a varied menu of delicious, authentic and fresh food. At lunch there is a buffet of which 90% is vegan. Eat as much as you want. There are 3 vegetarian dishes that are also indicated as vegetarian and the friendly and sweet staff also explains to you. They welcomed me so nicely! They also made sure that I knew that the dessert was not vegan and when I finished the food, they would bring me the vegan dessert. The food is very tasty! And the vegan naan is perfect! It is recommended to come even from distant areas of the city. The price is so cheap compared to...
