On one of the side streets near Shakujī Koēn station we discovered a restaurant that serves various kinds of curry.
For our first visit, we tried two things - the butter chicken curry and green curry.
The butter chicken curry looked and tasted great. If it weren’t the case, I would have been really disappointed because the restaurant had a pungent and pleasant smell of South Asian spices.
I also liked the green curry. It had hints of South Asian cuisine influence. The blend of spiciness and sweetness was also nice. I do think it would be better if it had more chicken and fewer chunks of ginger.
Like any typical Indian or Nepalese restaurant, there was an unlimited helping of rice and freshly-made naan for free. This was perfect for finishing their tasty curries.
The next time we come here I will try their soup curry. Maybe their soup curry like the green curry is also a fusion dish. I’m excited to find out if it’s as good as or even better than the soup curries we tried...
