Red Pepper Ebisu — Restaurant in Tokyo

Ordered via Uber Eats. Deeply disappointed. They should not call themselves an Italian restaurant. They can say they have something Mediterranean, but not Italian. They deserve no stars.

Ordered margherita and limone. Both had a soft crust, which was moist, thick and bland. I don't know why the dough is so sticky when you chew on it, almost like rubber. There is some charcoal over the pizza, hinting they cooked in a pizza oven. The cheese looks and tastes like processed chemical cheese and not 100% mozzarella - it cracked in a funny way when cold that mozzarella does not. The tomato paste has no flavor or smell, but there are cherry tomato toppings. Overall tasted something out of economy class airline meals.

Same with Limone, it has some lemon over a bland cream and bacon. The crust is same as the margherita, equally poor job.

If you want something authentic, don't eat at this place.

I can only imagine - they must be hiring part time workers to cook for them who have no idea on Italian cuisine nor have they received...

I would not recommend this place… I visited twice, and both of my visit did not make me rate the place more than 3 starts.

Especially the 2nd time was bad. I ordered soup pasta lunch ( picture ) which comes with salad, main, bread and drinks.

Look at this soup pasta and salad lol (Actually the picture looks way better than it looks…) The taste was not good, topping was so little and my friend who ordered different pasta almost did not recognize the topping as it was too little lol
