My family had a great meal here!
If you are looking for 100% authentic Chicago deep dish and have had it in Chicago, you will complain about the texture of the crust. But... why are you looking for that in Tokyo?? If you are looking for an interesting take on the idea of Chicago deep dish, then I think you'll enjoy it.
There were 5 of us and we ordered 3 mediums, which was a lot of food. We got the Hot Chicago, the Pulled Pork, and the Classic. They were all good! Each had a different kind of sauce, and a good variety of toppings. If you're worried about spice, the hot Chicago was not very spicy.
The English menu was easy to use, the staff was very helpful. I liked the pulled pork pizza the best! It's not what you'd expect if you're into American BBQ (but again: you're in Tokyo, why would you even want something that's just a copy?), but I quite liked it. It has a very subtle flavor, and Japanese cheeses are shockingly good for pizzas. I don't know if they're "better" than the classic mozzarella, but they add a unique flavor and melty-ness that makes it worth a try if you're in Japan for vacation.
They do have more little random charges than you'll see at other restaurants in the area. There is a table fee (came to about 2000 yen for the 5 of us), and you can add toppings for an extra charge. We had regular topping amounts, and I thought it was fine.
The atmosphere is neat! While we were there, they were playing actual old school rap with the full uncensored lyrics, so there were tons of F-bombs, which I found to be a fun little surprise compared to normal...
Read moreThe Chicago style pizzas are okay. The pizza sauce is rather unique, but that’s not a good thing. It’s rather sour-tasting and my friend didn’t care for it at all. I felt it was okay. If the chef could eliminate the sourness of the pizza sauce, the pizza taste would improve a lot (the meat and vegetable toppings were fresh and yummy, and the crust was nicely toasted, but the sour pizza sauce is very odd and unusual). We had the 3/4th-size original size lunch special, which came with a chopped salad and drink bar (iced tea and iced coffee, self-serve). The chopped salad was surprisingly excellent and delicious. The salad was very memorable and both my friend and I liked the salad a lot. Pricing was 3500 yen in total for two persons at lunch for the special mentioned above. I would say it’s an okay option to try if you’re in Ebisu since it’s only 200 meters from the station, but there are some better options for pizza in Ebisu, and also better Chicago style pizza restaurants available elsewhere in Tokyo. If they update the pizza sauce to make it less sour, this restaurant could...
Read moreOn 2025/05/12 we had dinner at the restaurant. Ordered a Chicago Classic, a Cesar salad, an appetizer of two types salami and two drinks. Salad is an average serving without much to say except I can make a better one. Salamis were four pieces each, and the most terrible thing was the pizza. It was one of my worst experience in tasting a pizza let along we are in Asia capital of best pizzas - Tokyo. The pizza sauce was sour and tasted like a can made pizza source. Not too much ingredients which I guess is because they want the customer to select an extra ingredient option so they can make more. After looking at the bill, I was totally surprised by their adding a charge of 2 persons fees. My wife who speaks Japanese and asked what that fee was. The waitress told us it is a “table fee”. Come on! We just paid 6000 plus for a meal and they add a 15% table fee? We are not in a club as far as I know. This was my worst experience in restaurant discovery in Tokyo. Guys n gals, DO NOT Go here, you will regretted...
