SATO-briand — Restaurant in Tokyo

Great Kobe and wagyu beef marble, perfectly cooked, absolutely delighted to have one friendly, professional senior staff cooked for us. I have been to many top rated restaurants in Japan and he was the very top one.

We chose the wagyu beef special 2023 course that was a great choice, the dishes were delicious and big proportions. Some of them were vegetables that refreshed you from greasy wagyu beef.

As this booking was made online two months ago, I forgot what dishes were included in the course but felt food was kept coming, lol…Make sure you have a good appetite to enjoy them. We had too much and ended walking back to Shinjuku...

An excellent restaurant. The quality of meat were excellent. Staff were very helpful and helped us with grilling the meat so they are at their best state when we eat. We enjoy the dinner very much.

When I tell them I can’t eat mushroom they are kind enough to remove mushrooms from the beef stew for me.

The set doesn’t look like a lot of dishes but we are all full at the end.

The chateaubriand rice was amazing, so as the finger sandwiches, they were so tendered. Even the so call lean meat were amazing.

Well worth the money and wait (as you need to book a month before).

Food: about 18000 yen per pax, the kobe beef quality must be good right? Well the beef looked like top quality beef, but tasted normal...

For the price I paid, i was expecting something much better... Appetizer: a small bowl of cheap stewed beef. Dessert was just one scoop of icecream? Come on...

Service: We had a dedicated staff to cook for us. But it seemed like we were rushed... From start to end it only took one hour... And I did not feel like i was in a high end restaurant.

Atmosphere: A typical cheap looking yakinuku restaurant.
