A hearty restaurant serving soup ramen and tsukemen. They have shoyu (soy sauce), shio (salt) and miso base flavours, and you can order extra gyoza for a side should you wish. I had a shoyu ramen and the broth was packed full of umami from the dashi, not just a plain ol' shoyu. It was delicious and I savoured every last drop. The atmosphere and vibes of the place is upbeat and cheerful with a great selection of music. It was fun even as a solo diner to eat while listening to it. The staff are incredibly friendly, and do their best to attend to every customer's needs and have some light conversations. I received a member stamp card at the end, so I must go back again soon and fill up the card 😄

Arrived for dinner and was happy there wasn’t a queue. My party and I weren’t sure how to use the vending machine to place our order, but the staff knew some English and were extremely friendly in assisting us. An English menu was provided and then we were guided on how to use the vending machine to place our order—insert money into the machine, tap the buttons to put in your order, grab your tickets and change, then head to the counter for a seat. I ordered the salt tsukemen and it was cooked to perfection. The soup used for dipping was flavorful, and the texture of the noodles were bouncy and not over cooked. I’d absolutely return and highly recommend waiting.

Already 2nd times in this week. Delicious and so far is my favorite ever in my life. The noodles softness just cooked at the right time, the soup base is very tasty but not salty.I strongly recommend people who read this article must try if you come to Japan, no matter how far you stay, it's worth to have a bowl of noodle in this store. Attached the noodles and the head chef (on the right)pictures, I also think he is the boss.

Somen offers tsukemen flavors like no other, with a wonderfully flavored and rich broth coupled with the exquisite wavy noodles. We had dined here one year previously and had been dreaming of these noodles until our most recent visit! We also had a fun conversation with the gentleman at the counter, best regards from our “nice family”! 😁

Had a tasty bowl of Ramen with fried and cooked gyoza on the side wich was prepared quickly also tried the thicker dipping noodles with a poke bowl on the side everything was satisfying and delicious. Aprons are also available. The staff is very friendly and helpful with the translation wich creates a nice atmosphere

注文は気をつけて！ マジでミスったーー… メニューはよく調べて行くべし。 写真撮り忘れましたが店頭の雰囲気が良いですね。 美味しいものが食べられそうな予感。 入口の券売機で注文。 今回はつけ麺醤油。 券売機のボタンのところがごちゃごちゃしているのかなという印象。 書き込みにつけ麺というワードが結構出ていたので、つけ麺にしたんだけど塩と味噌もあった。 席に着いて卓上のメニュー表でつけ麺は味噌がおすすめとなっていた。 これはミスったなと思いながら待つ。 あと、荷物置きがないのがマイナスですね。私は床には置きたく無いので困った。テーブル下ぱっと見置けなそうでしたが置けたのか？ティッシュはありました。 ランチタイムで入店時は空いていたが程よく席が埋まっていく。 2階席もあるのかな？昼は１階のみなのかちょっとわからなかった。時間帯で居酒屋っぽくなるみたいです。 1階はスタッフさん２名で連携がいいです。また、接客の方も活気がありながら声だけにならず丁寧。 昼は皆さんラーメンと日替わりのご飯のセットを注文してる人が多かったです。オペレーションを軽くする為、ラーメンに注文が入るようにしているのもあるのだろうけど、これだけの数、注文が入るのは人気なんでしょう。 さて、つけ麺ですが、麺が太めの平打で有るようで無いタイプ。個性的で麺イケてます。 スープはサラッとした鶏と節を合わせた和出汁。美味しいけれどスープが乗ってこないなど麺との相性は悪いのかもしれません。この時点でやっぱ味噌だったかなという気持ちと、スープ自体は細い麺だったら相性良さそうだなとラーメンも人気なんだなというのが理解できました。 帰り際にお兄さんが味玉で使えますよとスタンプカードみたいなのくれたのもあるんですが、また行ってみようと思います。
