Don Quijote Kinshichō Kitaguchi — Local services in Tokyo

I believe I was here on the 5th Dec 2024. The store is about 4 floors(?) and vertically designed, so climbing is kind of expected. You can wait for the elevator but it is really small and slow. You can, however, find the typical spread of items that Donki typically sells. What I have a problem is this short, stout floor manager. I believe he is the floor manager since he is going around talking/instructing his peers on what to do. Or maybe he's a senior training a fellow new recruit. I also understand that I am a foreigner in the land and probably give a strange/bad vibe to fellow Japanese. However, it was pretty intimidating when he kept eyeing me up and down as if trying to say that I am a hooligan or stole something. I say this because he added a scowl on his face.

Thus, I am only giving 4 stars because of this floor manager. The other staff and atmosphere is optimal. My suggestion - just go in, get your stuff, and get out. Or visit another outlet that...

THE WORST STAFF EVER!! THE LADY IN THE PINK DONKI UNIFORM WEARING BLACK FACE MASK!!!! 😡

We came early in the morning around 9:30 AM to shop before we travel back home. The TAX Free cashier staff wearing pink uniform on the 3rd floor is extremely rude to us! (I don’t know who she is as she is the only one wearing in pink! If that is the uniform for a manager or else she should behave better than this!)

We wanted to use the IC card for payment as we have a lot of money in the card and we don’t want to waste. We asked her politely if we could pay with that or even split the payment. She RUDELY replied us that it is impossible to do so. We acknowledged that. However, there are thousand ways to talk and she is just pissed with no reasons! No even other people waiting in the queue only us there!

She was unwillingly to assist at all cost. The way she talked to us is so RUDE with unexceptional ATTITUDE. Bad custermer service and rude behaviour! Moreover, she raised her voice asking for our passport, and also when we are paying with our credit cards. We don‘t even beg for her money to pay! WHY SHE NEEDS TO PORTRAIT SUCH AN UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE TOWARDS CUSTOMERS?!!! 😡

The store itself has enough items for souvenirs and sweets. The rest of the staffs are very nice. My mom paid on the other tax free cashier counter and the staff is very kind. Only this lady ruined our experience!

We will not come to this store again! and will also tell people we know not to shop in this store! I don‘t even want to give even one star to this store.

Amazing place for souvernirs and gifts. I spent over an hour going through all 4 floors. If you are a tourist bring your passport to get a tax discount on your purchases (as long as you don't eat/drink said purchase befpre leaving the country, if you do then I think you'd be charged that tax as you leave japan). Has a lot of food items and alcohols that make great gifts. Also has a lot of small accessories and clothing (which would alsoake great gifts), there's also a pharmacy section, and even an...
