Thereâs something so satisfying about walking into a place and seeing it packed full of excited locals. Itâs not quite on the same level as hitting the jackpot at slots, or a winning combination on a scratcher, but it does come close. In a world full of mediocre sushi this place stands out as a beacon of freshness and hope in an increasingly disappointing culinary world inundated by depressing Instagram popular duds. And in an already incredibly competitive culinary environment like Tokyo, that is famous for fantastic sushi this place stands out above all others that my wife and I have tried.
If youâre looking for sushi, this is the place. My wife and I came here on a Monday morning 10 minutes before opening and saw a massive line full of local waiting eagerly and talking excitedly about the sushi. Needless to say that was our immediate green flag that this place was about as legit as you can get. After being seated, we immediately started ordering like madman on the convenient little iPad menu ordering system that they have. An hour and a half flew by like it was nothing and we easily ordered nearly everything on the menu and I could you not every single piece of sushi was the best example of sushi that we had ever had up until this point. Looking at the prices for the individual pieces of sushi, we knew it was well priced but when it came time to pay for the bill, we were absolutely shocked by how affordable everything was. I can guarantee you if you wanted something of similar quality, which realistically you cannot get in the United States, youâd be looking at at least $100-$200 per person. Here we couldnât beat $50 per person and that was with a lot of effort. Needless to say, I will be back and I can confidently recommend this sushi spot to anyone and everyone who loves sushi with a passion.
Do yourself a favor and eat hereâŠtrust me itâll be worth it. Try your best to get a reservation, otherwise be prepared to wait a long time (it will still be worth...
Read moreOkay. I will write here a review (although I did not eat here) to give you an important advice. This sushi restaurant has on Monday all-you-can-eat. If you plan to go there on Mondays, go there in time!!! I went there for the all-you-can-eat. It opened at 11:00 and I got there at 10:55. Surprise surprise! There were around 50 people on the street waiting for the restaurant to open. There was no waiting queue, as the restaurant has a machine giving you tickets with a number on it indicating your place in the queue. And my place... was number 404. So there where 403 people in front of me waiting to get in. Unfortunately I did not have the time to get back later. I asked a Japanese person there and he said he came there at 8 in the morning to receive a better ticket. If I were to come again, I would come at 7:00 or 7:30. So if you plan to go there on Mondays, be sure you have a plan. Otherwise you do not stand a chance. I gave it 5 stars because it looked very promising. (just think of it: 400 people waiting to get in, even if it has not...

ă»I've been going to this sushi restaurant since I was a college student. It's very crowded, but I still get the same great sushi, so I often come here. You can't miss the seared food lol
ă»We went out for sushi to celebrate the end of 2020 and my friend's passing of her professional license! We didn't order the sushi set this time, but enjoyed ordering a variety of seafood snacks and sushi a little at a time while drinking . It's always really good! It was a great way to end the year. I hope next year will be a good one...
