I usually leave an Indian restaurant feeling full and satisfied, but this was the first time I walked out still hungry. Three hours later, I’m actually considering another meal.

The portions were laughably small. I ordered a chicken vindaloo expecting a rich, spicy curry, but what I got was a bland sauce with a tiny hint of spice and an overwhelming amount of potatoes. The chicken itself seemed torn into bits—there wasn’t a single proper piece in there.

On the bright side, the naan was good, the beer was cold, and the staff was friendly. But when I go out for Indian food, I expect more than just a decent side of bread and a smile. This was meant to be dinner, but it felt more like a light snack....
