Tokyo Yokujo — Restaurant in Tokyo

Because we are lovers of japanese local baths, me and my daughter went finally for the first time, because the place is close to our mansion that we just relocate in the area couple of months and always plan to check this bath. All these years chasing hot baths and lot of places visited, big and small, famous & not...this bath is the worst! molds, molds, molds anywhere you look! looks like the people who own the bath just running its business everyday without cleaning the walls, tiles and shower curtains! We were so devastated and shocked that for the first time...there is a bath like this existing in Japan. The pictures on their website lies:(( or maybe that’s when they first opened for business. Update: Tokyo Yokujo re-opened recently. Yes, yes, and yes!! Good job keeping the old beautiful facilities while introducing new elements that give this sento a magical atmosphere. Kudos to his very young 店長, who is doing a magnificent job!! If you ever go to Nishi-koyama, make sure to pay a visit to this public bath!
