After reading all of the reviews, I absolutely had to pay a visit. Was extremely happy to have found a great spot to sit, as I was slightly wary at first whether it would be too crowded. For avoidance of doubt, I popped by around ~10:30am.
Was served by a lovely chap named Ryo who was manning the place at the time and who provided a whole lot of amazing tips about Tokyo's nightlife and the area in general (Meguro/Ebisu).
I had the tractor sandwich and a black coffee, which were both great and exactly what was needed in the morning. The bread was crunchy yet soft and all the ingredients (amongst others - fried egg, bacon, cheese and mash) complemented each other well, creating a mouth-watering dish. Altogether it came down to ¥1450 and was well-worth the price.
Ended up staying here much longer than anticipated, as I ended up chatting with Ryo. 5/5 will be back again!

At first I didn’t mind the bad attitude the workers had but we were overcharged at the register. When I pointed this out and asked to see a list of the food ordered, I was told harshly by the kitchen guy (who had had a bad attitude the whole time) to “move out of the way” (of what? The other much needed non existent hall staff?). It felt like he was trying to hide the fact that they were overcharging us (by an entire 1600yen dish + 600yen additional topping that we didn’t have) to an already expensive bill. When I challenged his glare he just scoffed and kept his head down.
I’ve never experienced such bad manners and attitude and the nice looking food isn’t worth it. There’s much better food with much better service close by.

Read moreIn my opinion one of the best places for “classic brunch food” in Tokyo, such as eggs Benedict, Muesli bowls, breakfast sandwich… etc it has a quick turnover but queueing is expected.
Also, highly recommend looking what are the specials, I had the braised beef bruschetta with sour cream, pickled onions and cranberry jam with a side of kale chips, and it was amazing. The eggs royale and “normal” eggs Benedict were also amazing.
I’ve read some reviews about the place but honestly went two times (when it was crowded) and didn’t have a bad experience. I think if you just abide by the two “rules” the restaurant ask for you won’t have much trouble: Not enter the line for the restaurant until all the members of your party have arrived and; Don’t take pictures of the store space with the staff appearing on it without...
