Tsukuba — Restaurant in Tokyo

A lovely small family-owned restaurant where they freshly cook the food in the same room as you. The atmosphere is very welcoming and we had a nice talk with the owners.

The price is more than fair for the experience that you get.

I had tantanmen and my partner had gomoku ramen. My dish was perfectly spiced, I just had to come back another time for a second serving. We tried some delicious gyoza as well.

If we had the possibility, we would come here more often. Should we come back to tokyo, this will be definitely be one of the places we wanna...

神谷商店街はずれにある町中華。 ホントに住宅街に一軒だけポツンとあります。 以前TVの「町中華で飲ろうぜ」志茂編に出てました。 しかし、TVスタッフはよくお店を見つけましたね。って感じの場所です。 アルコールはメニューにはありませんが、冷蔵庫にあるものであれば出してくれます。 瓶ビールと缶チューハイがありました。 暑い日だったのでキンキンに冷えた瓶ビールとラーメンと半チャーハンセットに餃子を注文。 チャーハンはびっくりのおいしさです。 しっかりした味付けでビールのつまみ系のチャーハンです。ビールがグイグイすすみます。 ラーメンは麺はちぢれ細麺。 鶏ガラバッチリのおいしい醤油ラーメン。 細かく刻んだ白ネギとパサパサしていないチャーシューがうれしいです。 ここは大あたり。 餃子は野菜の甘みがつよいお上品な味。にんにくは使っていないと思われます。 うーん。かなりおいしいです。 店内、狭いカウンター3席と4人がけの狭いテーブル2つに小上がりにテーブル1つとこじんまりしていますが、町中華にはありえないくらいキレイです。ギトギト感一切なし。 若いご夫婦がテキパキと丁寧に接客してくれます。 お支払いは現金のみ。 TVではどういう基準でお店選びをしているかわかりませんが、ここはTV局の選球眼が見事でした。 赤羽駅から徒歩20分はありますが、行ってみる価値大アリです。 私もいずれメニュー全制...
