Tudore Tranquility — Restaurant in Tokyo

The food we were served over 8 courses was nothing less than amazing. There were really interesting flavor combinations and it was all excellently put together and beautifully arranged. Although it could be seen as pricey, we thought it was well worth the cost.

There are two main reasons I felt Tudore Tranquility should get 4 stars instead of 5. The first is how long the dinner took. It is a course dinner so I knew it would take longer than usual dinners but it took roughly three hours from the minute we sat down. I don’t mind waiting between courses. I don’t mind spending more time than usual on dinner, especially for one as delicious as this one but 3 hours felt like it was just a bit too long. My partner and I were both feeling antsy by the end of it.

The second reason for the docked star was that it wasn’t a very relaxed experience. This was due to a couple things. One was that the only other people in the dining area was another couple so it was oddly empty and quiet which made it feel awkward - with awkward silences and easily overhearing the other table. The music was quiet and gentle which didn’t help. Obviously only having one other table filled wasn’t something they could control (they did mention they had a cancellation earlier) but it didn’t help things feel comfortable. On top of this, the service and experience, though very friendly, felt a lot more formal than we were expecting which made it feel more awkward as well.

What can I say about this wonderful wonderful restaurant! I was in Tokyo for a limited period of time, and I was very keen to dine at this stunning vegan restaurant. Despite the fact that they were fully booked at all times to my pleasant surprise, I received a call on Saturday afternoon that the restaurant will extend the opening hours just for me and my wife to dine and enjoy the wonderful vegan cuisine. We went there at 22 hours (btw it’s too late for anyone to dine in Tokyo). We were welcome With open arms and I have no words to describe how delicious, all the courses were. Mamta, who is behind the Vegan tasting menu who personally cooked the dishes served us! Every dish was explain to us in full details, and we were just overwhelmed with the flavours we were , witnessing and tasting. We cannot thank Mamta enough for extending the opening hours just for us us!

We stayed until 00:30 (the restaurant was meant to close at 10:30) and Mamta did not rush to close although she was probably.

I would probably give three Michelin star to this boutique restaurant. Best wishes always, and thank you from me and my wife…Highly...

What an astonishing restaurant this is! Tastes good, looks good, has amazing service and has a nice ambience.

The food tastes great. Tudore Tranquility serve the most delicious vegan and vegetarian food I have ever had.

It is perfect for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and many more. I would love to go there again. Tudore Tranquility gives one a unique experience, which one will remember for the rest of their life.

This high end restaurant has their own cuisine and will blow your mind. The chef (Mamta Reid) has formulated recipes that the world has not seen before.

My favorite dish is the desert wich is healthy and vegan. In my opinion the cake and ice cream there taste better than regular, non-vegan cake and ice cream.

Everything about this restaurant is magnificent. I would defintely reccomend this to people visiting Japan, or even I you live in Japan. This restaurant deserves three Michelin stars. It is by far the best food I've had. I have nothing bad to say about this...
