This is my go to place for “fast food” sushi when I’m by myself and want a quick dinner. Reason being that there are no seats and very reasonable prices. Sushi is however very good. As mentioned, when you walk in, there are no seats and you eat while you stand at the bar. You need to order two types of fish (except for the last order) each of which come with 2 nigiri’s. I presume this is for time/cost efficiency for the restaurant. I’ve been to many low priced sushi places in the area (such as kaiten sushi) but this places has the freshest fish. I can eat a lot so I usually end up paying 3-4,000 yen w sake. But I think you can get daily sushi special with 8 nigiri for less than 1,000 yen. They have English menus. The fish was fresh, cut and served to order, and of an impressive variety. The chef also recommended several dishes and specials that were not on the menu, and I took him up on all the recommendations that he offered with zero regrets. Each dish (2 pieces) was between ¥150-¥600, with the popular items being in the ¥300 range.

The chefs & staff were friendly (despite language barrier) and offered me a menu in English.
Loved how they laid out the leaves and placed the ginger & your order gently. A nice warm touch, to me at least.

They were all freshly made & super yums! I wish I could binge all the sushi there… 🤓
I will come...
