An izakaya restaurant in Shinbasi, apparently very popular with the “salarymen” who frequent the place over the weekend to socialize. We visited the restaurant with a group of work colleagues. The restaurant was packed and we had several platters of local fare, mainly fish based, too numerous to recount. We gulped it down with copious amounts of beer, plum wine and sake; all very enjoyable. The service was brisk and business like and once the last course was served we were asked to finish our drinks and clear out in 30m. Seemed a bit rude which is why it gets only 3 stars.
