Read moreI feel bad about leaving a two-star review, but I was really surprised at the 4.6 rating and the experience we had and felt it was important to give an honest review since the difference between expectations and reality were very different.
First, I will say, they seemed very busy, so maybe it was just an off day. I have never really had bad sushi in my life, but the omakase was not good in my opinion. Nothing tasted bad or off, but there was definitely too much wasabi in some pieces and not much in others. The nigiri also overall tasted bland.
We didn’t have to wait long to be seated despite them being busy, which was great, and the waitstaff and chef were nice and apologetic, but they seemed a little scrambled and inattentive.
Again, they were nice and responsive when called, and they gave us some extra pieces to make up for the wait, but overall, I feel eating here was not worth the time and money spent.
