Yoheezushi — Restaurant in Tokyo

We went there at 11:45, he said the opening time will be 12:00 and ask us to come back 15mins later. However, we checked the information outside the shop, it should have opened at 11:45. Then we came back there again at 12:00. We are the second group of customers. We had been waiting for an hour, still no food serving. Not a foreigner friendly place. The chef was very rude and did not speak to us nor acknowledge us. Not even an answer nor smile when we thanked him for the food. Seems like this is a common occurrence judging by other reviews. He also mentioned something regarding us in Japanese to the other customers sitting beside us and laughed. Perhaps he should put up a sign that says locals only if he does not like foreigners.

Regarding the food, the sushi was good but nothing extraordinary. There is a difference made on the menu with ‘normal’ sushi and ‘superior’ sushi however when they arrived, both seemed the same.

Not a tourist friendly place. There is just a menu with a few combo choices (5), but no detailed one with prices of each piece.

We had a bad experience as one of us was vegetarian, and people serving laughed. Eventually, they managed to do something vegetarian.

The main reason for one star is the bill: we just received a piece of paper with a number without any breakdown. According to our calculations we spent at least 1000 yen more for each person. We tried to understand, but it ended up being too difficult (English is not understood there).
