Taiyo no Tomato Men — Restaurant in Tokyo

This unassuming restaurant is one of the best ramen places I've been to during my 12 days in Japan. The ramen is unique in that the broth is made out of either a tomato base or a soy milk base, which makes your meal into a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup in a bowl. The combination is frankly fantastic, and not eating here would be a huge loss to your culinary experience in Japan. For those of you with tomato allergies, the soy milk-based chicken bowl is also a delight and unique and wonderful experience. It’s the first restaurant I visited after landing in Tokyo. I met my mom in the Airbnb and it’s already 22:00 there are not too many restaurants still open at that time.
