Very convenient. As soon as you get out of the station, you're within close walking distance to visit Tokyo Skytree. I only wish there weren't so many transfers to get here. If you're in Western Tokyo (Ikebukuro, Harajuku, Shibuya), you'll need to take the JR line to Ueno station. Then transfer and take a train to Asakusa station. Then transfer and take a train to Tokyo Skytree station. It'd be nice if there was a train that went from Ueno station to Asakusa Station and Tokyo Skytree station on the same trip, rather than having to transfer. Would that be possible, in demand, or even worth it? That's beyond my current understanding.

名の通りスカイツリーからすぐの駅です、元々は業平橋駅が当時の駅名で今のスカイツリー周辺は昔は業平橋駅のホームがあり始発列車が行き来していました、今のスカイツリー駅のホームの発車メロディはその駅でしか流れないのもあり、バスは都営バスが主流です、バスの本数は4〜5本ぐらいなのも、駅員の対応は良く、本来は子供中心に渡しているような電車カードを大人の人が電車カード下さいと言ったら選ばせてもらい頂きました、宝物しています、東武さんの対応は鉄道会社の中で1番良いです、8両編成の列車は浅草寄りホームギリギリに停車するため、浅草寄りの端のホームで8両編成を撮影する際は黄色いブロックから間違って出てしまうと運転手からキツイ言い方で注意されるため6両編成の列車のみの撮影をオススメします、東武の電車カードは現状3種類のみ在庫があり、子供向けらしいが大人でも貰えました、一方でメルカリやヤフオクでの出品は東武さんに迷惑が掛かるためその理由での貰うのはオススメは一切しません、追記で現在とうきょうスカイツリー駅は工事の関係で浅草方面のホームは曳舟寄りにずれた位置にあり北千住方面のホームから少し距離があります

This station is on the opposite end of the Skytree and above ground, compared to the subway lines.

Tobu is a private line and this is one of their busiest stops. (Asakusa station as well). Tourist spot and business alike, it can get crowded.
