Loved it. Traveled all throughout Japan in 6 weeks and there were many great places I stayed at but I told myself if I were to ever come back, this would be hands down the first place I would book again. Best thing about it is that you get higher discounts the more days you stay. So next time I come back, spending a month here in this place would be HEAVEN. There's SO much to do in Tokyo and around that warrants that. I only spent like 5 days in Asakusa (7 days in Roppongi), and even then with where it's situated, in the quiet neighbourhood east of the river seperating you from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area, I never felt more at home. It didn't just feel like I was visiting, it actually felt like I lived there. Very close to a supermarket, convenience stores, vending machines just outside, laundry machine, microwave, fridge, kitchen with pans, oil, salt and pepper. Potential Skytree view just outside your balcony as well? On top of that Asakusa as a whole was probably my most favorite district in Tokyo, the Sumida River walk is AMAZING at night (and day too). If you want a quiet, laidback vibe, look no further... At times, I felt like Tokyo was just any other city, but being in Asakusa felt like I was back embracing more of the Japanese culture. Having stayed in both sides of the city, hands down would recommend Asakusa and this apartment the most.

The apartment is about 8 to 10 mins walk from Honjo-Azumabashi station. Remember exit A0 and A5 are the ones with elevators to the road. This might be useful in case you are coming from Haneda or Narita airport with luggage(s). Which exit is accessible depends upon the direction (or which airport) you are coming from. Now about the apartment, every switch and appliance control is in Japanese. So I used Google Lens to do the translation, they also have QR code for English manual for laundry and water heater (this switch is in the kitchen). They provide most of the toiletries except body lotion. It includes hair conditioner and laundry soap. Remember the hangers to dry the clothes in the bathroom are provided. You just have to hang them and turn ON the room heater mode to get the clothes after washing. The Tokyo skytree is a 15 minute walk. If you take a limited express it will only stop at the skytree station not in Honjo-Azumabashi station. This is very convenient because it's a station connecting directly to both airports and also has a very good connection to all around Tokyo.

Had an amazing time staying here for a month while looking for my own apartment! It has everything youโ€™d need in a home away from home. The tablet check-in was very quick and straightforward. The staff were super friendly and responsive. Thereโ€™s a shelf downstairs with books that guests can borrow. The room is huge with lots of daylight and select items that give the space character and makes it feel cozy. Since each balcony comes with a table and two chairs, I could have drinks and watch the sunset from there! The surrounding areas are also filled with little gems like Noguchi Sengyoten with their fresh kaisendon and also COFFEESTAND koenmae, all just a 2-3 min walk away. Last but not least, you get to enjoy views of the Skytree daily!!

I stayed at Section L Asakusa East for around half a year. The place turned out to be perfect for me, both with regard to relaxing and working from home.

My apartment was very well-designed and well-equipped. Among others, it had a large closet, a TV, a washing machine, and all kitchen utensils that are necessary for cooking full meals. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked flawlessly. On the apartmentโ€™s nice little balcony, one could catch fresh air and enjoy the afternoon sun. Letters and parcels could be collected from an electronic storage locker in the building's entrance area.

Since I was in Tokyo for work, and often worked from home, it was important for me to have quiet surroundings. Section L Asakusa East fully met this expectation. It is situated in a nice and quiet residential area. In addition, the sound isolation of the apartment was good too. During all of my stay I have heard hardly any noises from other rooms.

Another asset worth mentioning is that the building is very new. This means not only that all furniture and equipment is in perfect shape and fully state-of-the-art (special mention: the incredibly comfortable mattress.) The building also features the newest earthquake proofing technology. In a region that is as prone to earthquakes as the Kanto area this has significantly contributed to my peace of mind.

Finally, I can also commend Section L Asakusa East for its great staff (extremely responsive and helpful) and its location (though somewhat outside of central Tokyo, close both to Honjo Azumabashi and Oshiage stations). - An excellent overall experience and a strong...
