Hubby was exhausted from driving 8 hours, so he stayed at the hotel to rest and me and my boys went for a walk hoping to find some dinner at 8pm.
Our family came to find this place out of chance, a few small tight and packed izakayas were open, but because of COVID we avoided them. We were dredding eating combini dinner again when my eldest son looked up and pointed out an Italian resturant, which looked open space and not crowded. I'm not head-over-heels about Italian food, and to think of it I wasn't that hungry. But the kids needs to eat.
So we walked up and in, we were the only people there. (straight away I thought to myself, oh boy, nobody is here it better not be expensive... I only had ¥9000 with me at the time)
There was no English menu, so had my 7 year old (who can read Japanese, but I had enough Japanese to ask questions.) But the waiter helped out heaps too.
We got 3 dishes, thinking, Why did I order 3 dishes and I'm not that hungry??...💭
We got half Teriyaki Corn and Magarita Pizza ..which was like SO AMAZING ! 😮🤤🤤🤤 Crisp taste and wow . Next we got Ox Tail pasta... was like a smack to my tastebuds to wake up. The quality of their food, you can taste they were made from scratch ! So volumous and fresh That was like Wow!! 😮🤤🤤🤤 I can feel the chef's love and passion went into the dish.
The 3rd dish was the blue cheese stuffed lamb cutlets with veggies... That was like WOW !!
My taste buds were dancing! I've never had Italian like that, ever, before.
The service was excellent and super friendly and helpful.
And it came to under ¥5000 ! OhEmGeee I love this place! We found a Gem!
💎💎💎💎💎 for the taste and quality
💎💎💎💎💎 for the price and service.
We are planning to go there again...
Read moreI rarely post reviews but this was a real treat. The restaurant is very classy and they have clever partitions that make you feel you can have a high end dinner with some privacy. We ordered: Pizza Margarita: this was amazing, I haven't had such good pizza since a holiday in Gunma last year. I find it very interesting that all the best pizzas I've had in Japan (except for one) I've had them outside of Tokyo. The crust was great, not too much cheese so that I could appreciate the tomato sauce and the crust even more. The size was just right and I ended up at that sweet point of about 70% full. (Forgot to take picture) Frutti Di Mare: my wife ordered this and kept raving how fresh the ingredients were. I don't eat seafood so I can't really comment but she was very happy! The staff were nice enough to entertain her request to change to spaghetti instead of trenette. Gotta Caprese: great dessert treat, we really enjoyed it! Came with nice ice cream and cream side.
Too bad we leave Tottori tomorrow, I'd really consider...
Read moreThe ambience was a bit dated, but the food was absolutely amazingly fantastic. I had Italian food many times before even in Italy, I have not tasted something so good and so well prepared by the chef. You can feel the love of the chef in his cooking. We had homemade sausage, appetizer, pizza and braised beef cheek. Every single dish was amazing ! Highly recommended. The White House wine was...
