Had the best experience at Jinjin! They know we are travelling from Canada and were ready to serve us before we even stepped into the restaurant! They are super attentive and make sure guests are well taken care of every second. Was able to communicate seamlessly in English with Chef So, he explained how they prepare each dish and you can tell they put in A LOT of effort in their dishes. My favorite dish throughout the whole omakase course was the "fish espresso", where Chef Kimura uses fresh fish of the day to make the broth, with no added miso or salt.

Staff was really ever-present and always ready to give you suggestions such as sake pairings. Overall, it was a delicious journey, full of different flavours and consistencies. We ate a nine course omakase with two complementary dishes, we added another dish and tasted three sakes and a dessert. We spent 22000 JPY.
