I’m currently sitting at gate 11 in the Osaka Itami airport after having just domed an Asahi Beer and an airport bowl of beef udon as I await my flight to Sapporo. Life is as it should be. This beef udon was a 10/10 compared to an airport meal in the states, although that really isn’t saying much. We just put no effort into our airports for whatever reason. The chewy silk noodles and warm broth tingled my soul, coming to the aid of my white blood cells as I battle off one of those vacation colds I always seem to be a magnet for. I must note that this was the most I’ve paid for a bowl of udon on my trip, while also being the smallest bowl. An Udon shop in the food court in Itami Airport ANA. Gate. I wanted to try a real Osaka udon and they delivered. I had a kakiage udon and it was very good. Also it was the most I paid to a bowl of udon, it worth the every yen. You order it and it’ll come out within a few minutes. I will return next time I’m at Itami Airport for sure.

An Udon shop in the food court in Itami Airport ANA. Gate. I wanted to try a real Osaka udon and they delivered. I had a kakiage udon and it was very good. Also it was the most I paid to a bowl of udon, it worth the every yen. You order it and it’ll come out within a few minutes. I will return next time I’m at Itami Airport for sure.
