their matcha parfait comes with: granola, kinako mochi, seasonal fruits (muscat grape, strawberry, blueberry), financier, yuzu sauce the best part of the parfait was how it had so many different elements, which made it rly fun to eat! i felt like every mouthful was a diff experience. i especially enjoyed the pairing of matcha with yuzu, and the fruits used were fresh too however, i thought the matcha ice cream was kind of a letdown… i can’t say it’s bad, but i would have preferred a more intense matcha ice cream that was less sweet, which i think would have paired better with all the other sweet things in the parfait! ambience was great, as it was quiet and a good respite from the crowds in the main areas in Uji!

Our group arrived in Uji a little too late for the more well known matcha places, so we gave this hidden gem a shot. WE’RE SO GLAD WE DID. We each ordered a matcha latte and 2 parfaits. The owner was so accommodating to us foreigners and took her time to make the drinks and dessert with such love and care. They were so delicious, definitely a highlight of our trip and maybe the best matcha soft serve and latte i’ve ever had. It is very small, only enough seating for 4 in the dine in area. The interiors is very quaint and peaceful. Although, I’m pretty sure you can take out as well. Please stop by in Uji, you won’t regret it!!

THE BEST!! i’d give more than 5 stars if i could. Please come to this stall when u are in Uji. Forget the rest, go here first. I love everything about this place. The nice and friendly obsan, the matcha, the houjicha, the ambience. They are very welcoming too. Everything about this place is wonderful. Keep it up 🥰 ❗️Tips: Always ask before taking photos/videos of people / food preparation process. They don’t seem to normalise this here in Japan. I didn’t ask and I felt bad about it after realising it only after I went back. 🙌🏼
