Wow!! This vegetarian restaurant was as great as everyone described, I think it was one of the best lunches I ever had in Kyoto. There was only one thing on offer which was the lunch set, and oh boy this thing is cooked to perfection.
Each small dish in my lunch set was prepared with its own flavour that was so rich and deep yet somehow everything just perfectly complimented each other, and I swear the soy meat tasted so much like the real thing. It was really filling and so although it is a bit more expensive than the average set meal, it was so so worth it. What made this place even more perfect is the homely humble decor + atmosphere and of course the great background music, which made this whole experience a 10 out of 10.

My fiancé who is vegetarian wanted to find a place suitable for her. The place is quaint and a there is an amazing aroma of spices when you enter. The staff are very sweet and explain the menu to the best of their ability. All of the food is vegan and I must say that both of us were impressed. The fried tofu and tempeh is a must and all of the sides have wonderful flavors. I highly recommend this place, even if you aren't vegetarian. I feel that this style of food in Japan is hard to come by and is...
