Ghungroo — Restaurant in Urayasu

Tonight the service from this restaurant was beyond compare. We were stuck in a nearby hotel with no options for non-meat foods. We called and tried to get a delivery, but it was a delivery holiday. Desperate, I placed an order via the phone and tried to get a taxi there. Eventually I got one, but they dropped me on the far side of the mall, away from where the shop was. The hour was very late, and shop closing less than half an hour away. I called the shop, and asked for directions. They told me to go outside the mall and walk towards Family Mart and they would meet me there to guide me to the restaurant. I searched but didnt find FM, only the train station in the middle. (I hadnt gone far enough!). I called again, and this time the gentleman from the restaurant was able to come and find me! Thank you so much for the food and service. My wife was extremely hungry back at the hotel and she enjoyed the food...

The curry was delicious! The Dal Makhni and Chicken Biryani were tasty.

However, I did find the Palak Paneer curry to be disappointing. It seems that the paneer used may be an analogue or synthetic alternative, which significantly impacted the taste and texture. “I highly recommend avoiding paneer dishes, as they didn’t live up to the quality of the rest of the meal, and you might be wasting your money on them.”

For any one living in Tokyo or visiting Tokyo Disneyland, this restaurant is a must in your itinerary. It is just one station after Maihama ( Tokyo Disneyland station) when going towards Chiba in the Shin Urayasu station, Atre building (1 Chome-1-1 Irifune, Urayasu, Chiba 279-0012) on the 2nd floor.
