This bakery was successfully founded in 1985 by husband and wife. Around 20 years later, the wife unfortunately passed away... After a time of uncertainty, the husband and his son decided to keep the bakery going together. I am just a tourist passing by in Wakayama, but I am grateful that they continued to make tasty bread! The bread that you can buy in bakery Abend ist very tasty and you can find many unique items that other shops or chains don't have. I really liked the Kinpira Gobo Pan, so unique! Also the Cream Pan is really full of cream, so heavy :) Additionally, the prices are lower than in many other bakeries I visited. All in all, a very charming shop with great and unique products with very good taste!

Amazing spread of choices! I got a cheese ham bread that just came out of the oven. Crispy outer and moist cheese and ham inside. Amazing stuff!

ピンクの外観とグリーンの軒先テントが、けやき大通りの落ち着いた雰囲気とマッチして、フランスの街角に建っているような可愛いお店。良いか悪いかは別にして、お店の前の道に車を停め多くの人がパンを買いに来る人気のお店です。 中身がパンパンに詰まったクリームパンが人気です。パンの上に乗っているフォンダンや、クリームパンのクリーム、あんぱんのあんは大量に入っていますが、そんなに甘くないので、無理なく食べ切ることができました。ちゃんと考えられているなって感じます。 それ以外のパンもそれなりに美味しいです。あくまでも普通の町のパン屋さんですが、すべてのパンがそつなく、程良く美味しいです。 何度もうかがっていますが、今回はおばあさんと言って良いような年配の女性と、学生ぐらいの若い女性が店頭で働いていました。年配の女性はともかく、若い女性が生き生きと、年配の女性の分も補うように一生懸命に働いていて好感が持てました。若いのに偉いなぁって、感心しきりです。

I stumbled upon this bakery while walking around. First the cute pink facade caught my eye and then I saw the German name and as a German I had to enter! They have a mix of German inspired baked good and Japanese ones. I bought some bread and the Anpan and wow, that was the best Anpan I ever had! It was filled to the brim with the red bean paste and was so big but not too sweet, just perfect. It was so good I went back today to get the cream pan and some other things and again, everything was amazing. Really happy I...
