Dee Dee Thai Kitchen — Restaurant in Wakayama

This place is super cute, with friendly staffs, and a menu with lots of variety.

Unfortunately, the things I got weren’t as good as I was hoping it to be. They were still pretty decent, but it honestly seemed like they were making food more suitable for local tastebuds instead of keeping its authenticity and therefore, was lacking the flavor.

Oh and the mango sticky rice was not even fresh mangoes. I felt like this should have been clearly stated on the menu because otherwise, I wouldn’t...

I went to this Thai restaurant at lunch time. It was very busy so you might have to wait for a table sometimes. It's quite a new place so the interior is quite nice and it looks very clean and bright. They have about 6 or 7 different lunch sets all costing just less than 1000 yen. I had the chicken rice set. I was pretty satisfied with my meal. I would come back here again for lunch to try...

Lovely place with great Thai food, like you can choose your spice level. Ordered the Tom Yum, spice level 1, and it was as expected, nice warm feeling in the mouth but I could still taste all the lovely prawns and the soup. Followed by a classic chicken Pad Thai which again was cooked to perfection. Nice flavour and a nice clean modern feel to the place....
