A busy family run local Japanese restaurant. We are sitting in the bar top area, looking at the old chef cutting the sashimi. He should reach for his retirement life, appreciate his passion in work. Customers are suggested to write their order themselves, sure they help us to place the order. Great food! Excellent service! There’s an English menu as well. Restaurant was reasonably price with the freshest seafood/sashimi. I tried the fried rock fish (arakabu) set menu and the kaki fry (fried oysters) set and it was delicious and fresh. The crab in vinegar sauce was amazing as well. To top it off, place is run by a wholesome and sweet elderly couple. Would absolutely come back if ever...

A truly local place in Yakushima with very reasonable prices! They serve excellent locally caught flying fish. The most lovely family run business you can think of. This place is a major go!
